NEW - Virtual After School Program

What to expect:

BALI is very excited to be launching a new, year-long, after-school series of Leadership and Debate Skills workshops as a branch of our Journey to Leadership Program, which will be open to youth, ages 13-18, in all five boroughs.

During these very hard times for everyone, especially our youth and especially our underserved communities, we are happy to be able to offer a new program that is easily accessible and free. Months of shutdown have impacted our youth in many ways and have made the future of their academic and extracurricular development more unsure than ever, and we are hoping to help a little with that through this exciting new program.

Over the years, BALI has offered life-changing in-school, after-school, and summer programs to underserved NYC youth, aligned with our mission to provide skills-based and socio-emotional leadership training for them to become leaders now and in the future.

So, if you are looking for one-of-a-kind Leadership Skills Development and Debate Training digital after-school experience for the length of the current academic year, make sure to apply to our newest program below:

Deadline to Apply: October 15th

Length of the program: Wednesdays, 3:00 - 4:00 pm,
November 2022 – May 2023

BALI will meet with its trainees virtually every week.

Who should apply:

Any public high school student in the NYC five boroughs, including and especially those who identify as female and or gender expansive who are currently attending low-income high schools or schools participating in the Title I- free or reduced lunch program.
